The CSD oil switches are single-phase, motor-operated capacitor switches designed for 15kV and 25kV, and also for 35kV grounded wye distribution applications.
Capacitor Switches: VS - Vacuum Under Oil
The VS Series vacuum switches uniquely combines the extended maintenance-free life cycle benefits of a vacuum interrupter with the economical advantages of oil insulation. The switch is designed to perform in excess of 30,000 operations and should last over 30 years under normal operating conditions with appropriate maintenance.
Capacitor Switches: UltraVac - Vacuum Solid Dielectric
The UltraVac family of vacuum capacitor switches is “UltraFlexible” and is designed to fit a wide variety of capacitor switching applications. The long life vacuum interrupter combined with solid-dielectric insulation means many years of maintenance free switching. The UltraVac is designed for 110kV, 125kV, and 150kV BIL applications with a current rating of 200A; 400A rating options are also available.
Capacitor Switches: UltraSync – Synchronous Vacuum
The UltraSync family of vacuum capacitor switches is “UltraFlexible” and ideal for switching capacitor banks in multi-stage capacitor bank, back-to-back capacitor bank, large banks, or other sensitive system applications where conventional capacitor bank switching causes disruptive disturbances to existing customers or processes.
